We already know that SNSD / Girls' Generation will be combining forces with f(x) to model and endorse for LG Cyon's new Black Label series Chocolate phones. South Korea's LG Electronics is running a contest titled the "LG MOBILE WORLDCUP 2009," and they had their newest models / endorsers promote the contest by having them say HWAITING! (FIGHTING!) for the contestants.
The LG MOBILE WORLDCUP 2009 is a contest to find out who the fastest SMS / Texter in the world is. With more than $1 million in total prizes, the contest is being held in 14 countries: Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, South Africa, Mexico, Spain, Portugal, Columbia, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Russia, China, and South Korea. The winners from each location will then participate in a Grand Final World Championship in the US in November, the Grand Finals will have a top prize of $100,000. An estimated 6,000,000 participants will compete in the competition worldwide.
It's a pretty cool competition, and it's cool to see SNSD and f(x) participate by encouraging the contestants, HWAITING!
