YG Entertainment’s plans for Taeyang’s solo album revealed

big bang

YG Entertainment recently revealed a few tidbits on their plans for, Big Bang member, Taeyang’s second solo album.

YG Entertainment confirmed that Taeyang will indeed release a complete album and not a mini-album for his second solo venture, which we’ve already known for a few weeks now, and they presently have a nice cache of songs finished and ready for the album. They also revealed that Taeyang’s second solo album will be released sometime in October, if there are no hiccups along the way and everything goes according to their already laid out plans.

YG Entertainment did say that the possibility for Taeyang’s second solo album to be delayed is ever present and if it does happen, then they might release one of the tracks off of the album as a digital single before the full album is released.

Taeyang was the first Big Bang member to enjoy the sweet taste of solo success with his first album ‘Hot.’ I wouldn’t go as far as to say that he’s a veteran of the solo artist stage, but he does have good experience in the solo artist realm. I think it’ll be entertaining, more entertaining than their solo albums combined, to see Taeyang and G-Dragon go head-to-head in the Kpop world. G-Dragon most likely will still be topping the charts when Taeyang’s album comes out, if Taeyang’s album comes out sooner rather than later.
