Big Bang will be taking a short break in Japan and heading back to Korea. They ended their current Japanese promotions with a live performance on July 26th in Odaiba, Tokyo. The event titled "Odaiba U.S." and hosted by Fuji TV and some 3,000 fans were picked out of more than 10,000 who applied via lottery to attend the event. This go around, Big Bang had some success in Japan with both "Gara Gara Go," and "My Heaven."
However, Big Bang won't be gone for long as they'll be back in Japan next month to release both their first full Japanese studio album titled "Big Bang" and a Best-Of collection titled "Asia Beat." At the same time, G-Dragon is scheduled to release his solo album in Korea... so I don't know how all this is going to work out. As for now, I hope that Big Bang gets some much needed rest in Korea. When that's over, let's see if they can continue the trend and become more popular in Japan. It'll be very difficult, because the music they make (although catchy) isn't really what the Japanese are into.
