Yoo Seung Ho gets kissed in 4th Period Murder Mystery

Having seen Kim So Eun and director Shin Dong Yup drop out of 4th Period Murder Mystery in late June due to scheduling and financial reasons respectively, filming for the movie started from scratch again with Yoo Seung Ho partnering newbie actress Kang Sora. Filming has been completed and is now in post-production.

Yoo Seung Ho plays the intelligent, handsome, model student, Han Jung Hoon who also enjoys huge popularity among the female students. During the 4th period (physical education), Jung Hoon discovers the body of his rival classmate, Tae Gyu. With no one else around but him, Jung Hoon is implicated as the murderer and he has to find the real culprit before the 4th period ends to clear his name. Seung Ho was particular happy to be in this movie because he could finally act out a role that's relevant to his real age.



Kang Sora who replaced Kim So Eun and is starring in her first leading role, plays the role of a girl called Lee Da Jung who has gifted deductive reasoning ability and serves as a strong ally of Han Jung Hoon (Yoo Seung Ho). The detective novel fanatic, Da Jung sees Jung Hoon standing next to the dead body of Tae Gyu and suggests that they should try to find the real murderer before the end of the 4th period. During the process, Da Jung falls in love with Jung Hoon, resulting in the kiss. This is the 2nd time in a month for Yoo Seung Ho after he had kissed T-ara's Ji Yeon in the Lies music video. It could have been Kim So Eun's second on-screen kiss if she was still in the movie.

After looking at the brief outline of the movie, it feels like a Korean adaptation of the popular Japanese mystery manga series, Kindaichi Case Files. 4th Period Murder Mystery is set for release in cinemas on 13th August.

Yoon Eun Hye Goes Solo

Many Korean celebrities are building their own companies these days. Top stars like Choi Ji Woo, Lee Byung Hun, Rain, Bae Yong Joon, Song Seung Hun and more are declaring independence from their previous companies and flying solo.

Yoon Eun Hye is now joining these top-notch stars with her independent agency called The House Company which she opened with her long-time manager. She put in time and dedication into all aspects of the company, from interior design to business card design.

Yoon Eun Hye said, "It has been 10 years since I began this entertainment business. Now, I want to be able to choose my own work and take care of everything myself, therefore I chose to work with these wonderful people (to create the company)." She also added, "It is an independent company, but I am planning on training rookies as well."

Kudos to Yoon Eun Hye for breaking free from her previous company! However, I can already see fanboys trying to figure out how to start training under this hot actress.

TVXQ Yunho getting busy for his drama debut!

TVXQ leader Yunho, along with Go Ara, Lee Sang Yoon and Lee Yoon Ji got busy script reading together for their upcoming drama "Heading to the ground (Without Preparation)."

The producer of the drama Park Sung Soo stated, "I made an amazing discovery today. I was able to see their dedication and sincerity."

The MBC drama will air in September.

SNSD hit 100k album sales for the 3rd time

SNSD has once again demonstrated that they are the best selling Korean girl group at the moment, after going over the 100k album sales mark for the third consecutive time.

After only a month of release on 29th June, the 9 member girl group has managed to rake up an impressive sales volume of 100,497 copies sold for their second mini-album, Tell Me Your Wish (Genie). And it's still going strong.

This is their third time achieving this following their 1st album, Girls' Generation and 1st mini-album Gee, and is a pretty phenomenal record considering that girl groups usually don't do that well and even more remarkable with the industry in a slump.

Jessica and Jong Hyun’s Sexy Love

Oh, you Jongsica fans are going to love this one.

Fellow SM artists Jong Hyun of SHINee and Jessica of Girls' Generation/SNSD sang Ne-Yo's "Sexy Love" together on Shim Shim Ta Pa. Although Jong Hyun's vocals clearly overtook Jessica's, the performance was still enjoyable. The two kept gazing longingly at each other, I couldn't handle the chemistry. They really couldn't have chosen a sexier song. Hell, I don't know which was hotter--Jong Hyun repeatedly crooning "baby girl" or Jessica whispering "he makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up" at 1:26. Also enjoyed Kim Shin Young's ghetto-fabness at 3:02.

G-Dragon Will Sweep This Summer Away

As if expectations for Big Bang leader G-Dragon's solo album aren't high enough already, company president YG has now added to the hype. On a recent episode of 2NE1TV, he revealed to viewers, "Kwon Ji Yong is a really big deal. Up until now, he has been helping me produce for Big Bang's album, but for this album he did all the production work alone. Currently, nine songs have been completed. I really like them, been listening to them everyday. Its like he's going to sweep this summer away."

Gah! The hype is seriously killing me. Having been a G-Dragon fan since the group's debut, I can honestly say that the release of his solo album has been long overdue. The man is pure genius. Talented, unique, fresh, SWAGTASTIC. Get ready, music charts. Because you're about to get rocked. Mr. Kwon Ji Yong is ready to go, ready to flow, READY FOR THE SPOTLIGHT, READY FOR THE SHOW.

Seungri Strong Baby Uncut / Passionate Version?

The cut scene from Big Bang member Seungri's "Strong Baby" MV is finally released, but compared to what baby V.I. appeared to do on stage, this seems mild.

Obviously this whole issue with Seungri touching lips with some random girl is sure to spark tons of controversy. Poor girl... within days I'm sure netizens will get a hold of her Cyworld page to spam it with hate messages and ruin her life. Oh the danger of working with Korean celebrities these days.

But really, sitting on his lap and barely touching lips, coupled with an obviously fake make out scene at the end (Hmm... why is it so blurry? It's almost as if they don't want you to see that it's fake...) makes me think that YG cut the scene from the MV not for being too racy, but for the sheer awkwardness radiating from the two "lovers." Seungri.. c'mon... at least look at the girl you're attempting to bang. The camera will not continue you're bloodline... jeez. For those of you new to the wonders of Korean fangirls, if you think that the screaming in the video was girls screaming in joy... oh how mistaken you are. They were screams born from a deep ripping pain within their chests... and they are hellbent for revenge. I honestly expect that girl's entire life biography up on Naver before the week is over.

When asked what they attribute their popularity to, leader Jaebeom answered, "We have no typical style like other idol groups, and I think we appeal to fans by not worrying about our individual images and just playing, talking, and dancing as we feel like it on stage. It seems like our fans call us ‘animal idols’ because of our barbaric personalities."

Fellow member Junsu replied, "I think there are a lot of fans who like us for directly saying things and just saying everything we want to say on shows." Thailand-American member Nichkhun added, "I feel like that’s why the fans think we're sexier."

And sexy they most certainly are. Out of the celebrity comments, I definitely relate to Chaeyeon's comment the most. Oh, 2PM...you make our hearts sh-sh-shake.

Celebrities come together For Animal Welfare Campaign

The Animal Liberties Union ‘Companion Animals’ Exhibition was open from the 24th until the 27th for 4 days and was held in ‘Daily Project’ in Chungdamdong.

For this exhibition with The Korean Society of Human Animal Bond, many famous celebrities joined in to help be part of this gallery. Popular groups like SNSD and SHINee were a part and Gong Hyo Jin, Lee Yeon Hee, Kim Min Joon, Lee Hana, designer Jung Wook Joon, Song Jain and many others participated by taking pictures along with many rescued animals to send out a message.
