SNSD Performances at 2009 Dream Concert

As we all sit around and wait for the airing of the 2009 Dream Concert tonight, we've been hit by a pleasant early surprise. A very high quality fancam of SNSD's performances was uploaded by sosiz, which is sure to whet your appetites!

The girls performed Genie, Gee and also a brief introduction, where Taeyeon was so overwhelmed with emotions, that she broke down and cried. For those of you who are unaware, at last years Dream Concert, anti-fans put on a silent protest. This time around however, everyone showed massive support for SNSD, hence the emotions were flowing high.

After all the hate and drama this year, this was a nice change of atmosphere.

Anyway, enjoy the fancam and stay tuned for all performances from the 2009 Dream Concert in a few hours!

The idol you want to visit your hometown with is…?

This coming Chuseok is a Korean holiday that lasts for three days in which most people return to their hometown to pay respect to the spirits of their ancestors. Although to most youths, returning to their hometown sounds about as much fun as watching grass grow. However the music site Monkey3 held a poll from the 24th to the 28th that gave suggestions on how to spice up the trip back home.

Monkey3 put up a poll titled "The Idol You Want to Visit Your Hometown With" on their website, and SNSD's Taeyeon came in first with a whopping 45% of the votes. Lee Seungi came in second with 15%, SS501's Kim Hyun Joong followed with 13%, Big Bang's Daesung came in third with 11% with Sandara Park and f(x)'s Sulli rounded out fifth and sixth place.

SNSD Release Samyang Ramyun CFs

We reported last week that the ever popular 9 girls of SNSD had been chosen to endorse Samyang Ramyun.

And the CFs have finally been released.

To make it special, they produced a special 'Boiling' song for the CF which has an easy and addictive melody. Along with the 'Boiling' song, a matching 'Boiling' dance was also cheoreographed for the CF as well. The slogan for the CF goes like this, 'Friendly Ramyun, SamYang Ramyun. If You're My Friend, SamYang Ramyun', how cute is that!

And to make good use of the 9 girls, they even filmed 4 separate endings for it.

The following two videos are behind the scenes from the CF filming.

What’s long, black and fits nicely in SNSD’s hands?

What's long, black and fits nicely in SNSD's hands? LG's new Black Label Series Chocolate phone of course.

As reported earlier, SNSD will be the new face of LG's Chocolate phone, and some promotional pictures have finally been released. Although it's kinda hard to care about the Chocolate when you have eye candy like this.

It seems that the concept they're going for with this phone is sexy sophisticated. So remember girls, if you want to be sexy sophisticated, then get yourself some chocolate.

Jung Hyung Don is Married to Taeyeon?

Probably the happiest man on earth at the moment, a famous comedian, Jung Hyung Don recently started his official life as a husband to his wife, Han Yura. Their adorable love sparked during their filming as an MC and a writer. The couple came back from their honeymoon, only to find an article with a picture of Jung Hyung Don in tux and Taeyeon of SNSD in a dress as if they were married.

Obviously, this was a silly mistake, yet humorous, done by the Hawaiian news site, midweek.com. The article stated clearly that "Jung Hyung Don and Han Yura" visited Hawaii for their honeymoon, which contrasts the photo right above the statement. This picture is an extract from an episode of SBS We Got Married, where Jung Hyung Don and Taeyeon appeared as a virtual couple. It also skyrocketed the number of antis full of hatred and jealousy toward Jung Hyung Don. So calm down, S♥NEs, Taeyeon's still fresh and single.

However, this is not the first time where a foreign press publishes Korean articles with a wrong picture. During the Beijing Olympics held not too long ago, an Indian news website displayed an image of Minho of SHINee for an article that congratulated the victory of Choi Min Ho, a Judo player. Last time I checked, Judo players don't prefer dancing in skinny jeans.

SNSD has new pictures for Goobne Chicken

Looks like SNSD / Girl's Generation is still loving them some chicken!

The new promotional pictures were great for my soul their fans. I'm not really sure what the pictures have to do with chicken (except for my Seohyunny holding up the cute radish plush doll (she's so perfect) and YoonA eating a burger? Maybe a chicken burger...), but who's complaining?

You get everything from cute (Seohyun) to sexy (Check out Yuri and Sooyoung) to seductive (YoonA + eyeliner = amazing) and everything in between!

The girls never fail to amaze with their looks. I'm sure this will sell a lot of chicken to old ahjussis and hormone driven boys.

SNSD Becomes Friends With Ramyun

Korea's favorite girl group SNSD/Girls' Generation is at it again!

The nine girls of SNSD have been chosen to be the endorsers of popular ramyun product SamYang Ramyun. SNSD was chosen as the endorser because of their playful charms that could easily attract fans in their 10-20s.

For the upcoming CF, a cute 'Boiling' song with an easy and addictive melody will make the CF even more enjoyable. Along with the 'Boiling' song, a matching 'Boiling' dance will be shown as well. Also, the logo for SamYang Ramyun is 'Friendly Ramyun, SamYang Ramyun / If You're My Friend, SamYang Ramyun', how cute!

Taeyeon and Sunny’s duet for HTTG! MV version

Enjoy:

Taeyeon and Sunny’s duet for HTTG!

We reported earlier about SNSD's involvement on the OST of the new MBC drama Heading To The Ground, starring TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki's leader Yunho and Go Ara.

I'm happy and proud to present you with Taeyeon and Sunny's duet for the soundtrack! When roughly translated the song is titled "It's Love" or you can go with the romaji title "Sarang In Gul Yo". The two's voice collaborates into a beautiful sad ballad that will just make you feel emotional all over! Enjoy!

Girls’ Generation’s Global Language Skills

After seeing CL speak English, we now have SNSD / Girls' Generation turn at speaking other languages. It's been mentioned Girls' Generation can speak many languages but we got to see it all at once during the press conference of the Asian Song Festival.

After leader TaeYeon introduced her group and how honored the whole group is to be there she passed down the microphone to SooYoung who spoke in Japanese. Then it was Tiffany who gave a speech in English followed by HyoYeon who said a quick thank you in Chinese.

All the idol groups have been proving their skills in not only performing but knowledge of other cultures these days.

SNSD Talks About Their Legs and Won Bin

Girl idol group, SNSD / Girls' Generation was a guest on MBC's "SectionTV Entertainment Communications' segment of "Tell Me Your Wish" on September 18th and revealed some very interesting things.

SNSD's Yuri said that a bad thing about wearing hot pants is that she gets mosquito and bug bites a lot. Taeyeon also agreed by adding that "when you sit, its very uncomfortable," and also added that "but if her legs come out to look nice on television, she doesn't complain." SNSD is known to start hot topics amongst people because of their emphasis on wearing hot pants and doing the sexy "genie kick."

On that same day it was reported that SNSD had shot a commercial film for a Shin Han credit card. SNSD member Yoona made everyone laugh by jokingly remarking that it was not surprising that the male fans were exclusively favoring Yoona and cheering her on. SNSD member Tiffany also talked about how she was selected for having thighs of a "goddess." She said that, "when people talk about legs, and SNSD is mentioned, it is an honor and I will exercise my legs even harder."

Another revelation was that SNSD has shyly voted that the man they all would like to most shoot a commercial (CF) with is actor Won Bin. Yuri mentioned that she loved the movie titled, "Mother," and said in a video message that, "If you have a preview screening / premiere in the future, please invite us." The rest of the SNSD members showed their interest towards Won Bin by shouting "we love you," and "we want you." Won Bin is one lucky man.

Girls’ Generation’s New Credit Card CF

Two days ago we reported that Girls' Generation / SNSD were on set filming a new CF (Commercial Film). Well, the new CF was quickly filmed and edited and has now been released.

The CF is for Shinhan Bank and their new credit card. The girls wear tuxedo's and are paired with 9 guys who're also wearing tuxedo's. It seems the guys are the tenor's to SNSD's soprano-like voices. The girls are very beautiful in the CF and they even do their "Genie" leg kick. The girls had to stand on wooden blocks for one of the shots so they could be the same height as the guys. I don't know how this commercial is related to credit cards but it's pretty cute nonetheless. Thanks to Elaine for the tip and check out the video below:

On the Set of Girls’ Generation’s New CF!

Girls' Generation has filmed yet ANOTHER commercial, which will be added to their list of countless endorsements. This one is for a bank and they've posed in sexy tuxedos for Shinhan Card - the variety of products they advertise is pretty phenomenal, from banana milk to credit cards.

Whenever they wear short shorts, it is impossible to not be impressed by their flawless legs which are not only never-ending in length but oh so skinny!

Here are the photos from the set:

We all love the shorties of SNSD, HyoYeon, TaeYeon, Jessica, and Sunny, but you have to admit, the wood panels under those girls are hilarious! How cute! HyoYeon seems embarrassed!

Stay tuned for the CF which will hopefully air soon!
