Jaejoong and Micky are on top of the Oricon Weekly

DBSK
Last week, Jaejoong and Micky of TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki enjoyed much success, crushing the competition, with the release of their new single album "COLORS ~Melody and Harmony / Shelter." A week later it's on top once again, this time on the Oricon Weekly Sales Chart, selling nearly 150,000 units (149,363 to be exact). Good Night, Sweet Dreams to the competition because they crushed the competition once again as VAMPS came in at a distant second with only 31,504 units sold (COLORS first day sales nearly tripled the second place total weekly sales).

The album was practically first every day on the singles album chart this past week, so it was only a foregone conclusion that they would be first on the Oricon Weekly. This marks the seventh time that TVXQ has reached first on the Oricon Weekly Chart, which breaks their own record for a foreign artist... but this isn't the only good news.

“TVXQ 4th Live Tour 2009 – The Secret Code – FINAL In Dome” has also achieved first on both the Oricon Daily and Weekly DVD Charts, the first foreign artists in over 20 years to do so! This marks the first time that they have been able to accomplish such an impressive feat. This is very impressive for them and their popularity in Japan keeps on growing. Congratulations and hopefully their issues with SM are resolved soon.

TVXQ Yunho says the 5 of us will never part at Shanghai Concert

092609_tvxqasone_572

Earlier today, TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki got together on stage to hold a concert at the Hongkou Soccer Stadium in Shanghai, China. Despite the turmoil, rumors of breakup, and lawsuit with SM Entertainment, the boys got together and put on a great show for the more than 30,000 fans in attendance.

According to fan accounts, TVXQ's leader Yunho said: "The five of us will never part!" Even though the concert was held in China, this lead the crowd to chant "믿어요! 동방신기 사랑해" which translates to "Believe! We Love Dong Bang Shin Ki." Jaejoong, and Micky were both seen crying around this time as well. There's also reports that all 5 cried together at the end.

This reassured a lot of Cassiopeia who have always kept the faith and continue to do so. Here's some photos and also check out some of the fancams below. Also make sure to check out the OneTVXQ Forums.

Jaejoong and Micky are on top of the Oricon

DBSK
With a sales figure of 103,940, Jaejoong and Micky Yoochun's new single album "COLORS ~Melody and Harmony / Shelter" crushed the competition on it's debut on the Oricon Daily Charts. VAMPS was a distant second place with nearly 90,000 less sales, selling 13,962 units. Kawamura Ryuuichi came in at third with a sales figure of 6,521 units.
DBSK
This number is extremely impressive because the single was released earlier in the month in Digital form and downloads exceeded 250,000. Also, according to some reports, if you include the DVD sales of "COLORS ~Melody and Harmony / Shelter," the sales figure surpasses 180,000.

Wow, even without the full 5 members of TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki, they can have such high sales figures. It shows you their immense popularity in Japan right now.

DBSK
Here's a pretty cool video for you Jaejoong and Micky fans. It's an off-shoot video featuring the duo during the filming of their PV for "Colors" and photo book.

Despite the pending lawsuit and issues with SM Entertainment, it seems these two are having a lot of fun. You can see them smile and be happy in this video. Hopefully this whole issue with SM is resolved soon and you can see all 5 of the boys of TVXQ be happy together. Also check out the OneTVXQ Forums.

TVXQ on stage as one

DBSK
Korean fans may not be able to see the boys of TVXQ on stage together for a while since it was announced that they will not be performing at Dream Concert. However, fans in Japan were lucky enough to witness the boys together as one at a-nation '09. They performed hits Stand by U and Survivor - showcasing their vocals and dancing.

a-nation is a month long concert tour held during the summer in Japan, consisting of Avex's (TVXQ's entertainment company in Japan) most successful artists. The concert occurred last month, but WOWOW TV broadcasted the performance today. I'm sure all the Cassiopeians are letting out a sigh of relief after seeing their boys together on stage once again.

Check out their performance below:

Jaejoong and Micky also performed today at Music Fair 21 in Japan as well.

TVXQ’s Endlessly Sweet reaches number 1

20090824_tvxq_main

TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki's new digital single "Endlessly Sweet" reaches number 1... no, not on the Oricon Charts but on the mu-mo chart.

Endlessly Sweet is a song for TVXQ's "Pinky" (Candies) Commercials that has been airing in Japan. Unfortunately, you won't be seeing the song on the Oricon Chart because there's no physical copy release of the single, instead it was released as a "digital only" single on September 23rd. Mu-mo is basically the Japanese version of iTunes and their music chart is based on downloads. Coming in at number 5 on the mu-mo-chart was Jaejoong's and Micky's "Been So Long" single.

Photobucket
That's not the only chart where "Endlessly Sweet" took first place, the song also took first on the Musico Daily chart. Jaejoong's and Micky's "Been So Long" single faired a bit better here than mu-mo and was right behind "Endlessly Sweet" at number 2 on this chart:
