Lee Yoon Ji Believes in Kangin

20091008_kanginyoonji_572

Most of you are already thorough with Kangin's recent assault controversies that heated up the netizens like wildfire. Yes, this event caused many of the netizens and fans to turn their backs on Kangin from the unbearable disappointment. However, it seems like his "ex-wife", Lee Yoon Ji still has an unconditional love for him.

Photobucket

Lee Yoon Ji, an actress currently leading the drama, Heading to the Ground, got "married" to Kangin earlier this year. Although they were nothing more than two celebrities going through a life of virtual marriage on a show, MBC's We Got Married, viewers definitely saw the undeniable chemistry between them two. I guess their companionship still remains everlasting, for Lee Yoon Ji delivered a heartfelt message toward Kangin.

She said, "I don't know the details, but I do know that the mishap was unintentional due to Kangin's misrepresentation on himself. Hoping that all this would be resolved quickly, I believe Kangin will stay strong throughout this."

She didn't conserve her compliments by adding, "Kangin is a very loyal friend. He's friendly and many adults adore him for his great personality."

Her claims on Kangin's persona makes us believe as well that it was just a simple humanly mistake. After all, celebrities are human beings and they aren't capable of being perfect. It just seems like the netizens are forgetting that fact nowadays.... Anyways, fighting, Kangin!

You won’t see Kangin at Dream Concert

super junior

Many of you already know that 2PM will be edited out of the official broadcast and Daesung won't perform with Big Bang for the upcoming Dream Concert on October 10th at the Seoul World Cup Stadium. Now there's news that Super Junior's Kangin won't join his fellow Super Junior mates on stage for the concert. Most likely due to the recent assault controversies.

Even without TVXQ, Kangin, and Daesung not being in the lineup, the Dream Concert is still going to be packed with some of K-Pop's top artists. The list of performers include Super Junior (minus Kangin), Big Bang (minus Daesung), SNSD, SHINee, 2NE1, Chae Yeon, f(x), 2PM (not on broadcast), KARA, Wheesung, Jewelry, 4minute, T-ara, MC Mong and Park Hyo Shin.

Kangin to be charged this week

super junior

Yes, beating the dead horse.

Super Junior's Kangin will finally receive judgment this week for his involvement in a recent bar fight. My guess is that he'll receive a slap on the wrist, after all it seems he didn't instigate the fight and it was mainly self defense.

The police stated on the 21st:

"At first, Kangin tried to avoid the fight. However, one of the suspects kept following him around and continuously attempted to attack him, in which Kangin did attack the suspect. The investigations are over and a conclusion has been drawn. Although we cannot reveal specifics yet, Kangin will be charged sometime this week."

SM Entertainment stated:
"Kangin tried to avoid the fight, but had no choice, it was self defense."

Kangin stated:
"I'm very sorry about causing trouble. To everyone who has been concerned for me, I would like to apologize. I will make sure to never cause another situation like this again."

Whatevers! I still want to see Kangin kicking some pedestrian ass. Imagine getting beaten by an idol group member, now that's embarrassing, even if Kangin isn't your typical idol group member.

Kangin Will Not Make Miracles Anymore

super junior

Update: Kangin has decided to drop out of the show, with effect from 28th September.

In the aftermath of the assault case that Kangin was involved in last week, there have been doubts over his schedule in the short term.

But there was good news for fans of Kangin after it was announced that recorded portions for his variety show, Human network – Super Junior’s Miracle on KBSDrama cable channel will not be edited out.

According to a production staff, "We aren't going to edit away Kangin's recorded portions for the broadcast. Kangin had come to the filming place very early for one of the recordings, and read over the kid's profile very carefully, showing his dedication. Although he is now involved in a police case, he is a very kind and and friendly person during recordings. It will be great to have him continue on the show in the future."

As for Kangin's schedule on the show in future, it's still very much up in the air depending on legal proceedings. The staff said, "That hasn't been decided yet. But in the event that Kangin won't be coming in for the next recording, we are making contingency plans to find a replacement for him temporarily."

CCTV Results of Kangin’s Assault Case Revealed

super junior

Kangin's CCTV findings about his assault case were released today.

The police have revealed the results after analyzing the CCTV video for the past few days. The police revealed through a press release, "Kangin and the other man involved threw punches and kicked each other on the street in front of the bar. After learning about this, Kangin's sunbae came and got involved in the fight, also throwing punches and kicking."

They continued, "All 7 people involved have been sentenced with acts of violence and legal violations but they are not slapped with a restraining order and are thus not going to prison. As for Kangin, we acknowledge the fact that Kangin tried to keep himself away from the fight. He tried many times to ignore the one person that kept following him and using violence against him. We will count Kangin's acts of violence as self defense."

Kangin said, "As a public figure, I am sorry for my actions. I am sorry for this act and making everyone worried. This thing will not happen again in future."

The police concluded that the fight involved Kangin, two men who escaped the fight, one person who was with Kangin, and three extra people.

Kangin had denied the charges made against him 5 days ago and now the truth is finally out. The police have decided Kangin did try to stay out of it which makes it self defense but he must go to court for a further and more detailed decision about his punishment because he is charged with an act of violence violation.

Kangin is a Crybaby

super junior
Due to his recent charges of assault, Super Junior's Kangin must be under a lot of stress, because he shed some manly tears during their Hong Kong concert.

Super Junior left for Hong Kong recently for their Super Show ll tour. This show was Super Junior's first overseas stop for Super Show 2 in 2009. Being their first overseas stop, fans from all over Asia came to support them.

An onlooker stated, "Even amongst the outburst cheerings of fans, there was a shadow casted upon Kangin's face and he seemed careful of his actions. Also, during their last song 'Marry U,' Kangin started to get teary-eyed during his part."

super junior

It was also stated, "It was Kangin's first public appearance after the assault case was made public. Kangin's face was very gaunt and he spoke very little during the concert, and eventually in the end, he was not able to hold in his tears. In response, fans cried out his name and consoled him."

With the assault case still under investigations, the truth has yet to be revealed. But the good guy always wins in the end. So if Kangin is telling the truth, poor guy needs to keep his head up for his fans. Super Junior, Kangin, and ELFS fighting!

Super Junior Hits Hong Kong, Three Members MIA?

super junior
Oh wait, let's count that up... only ten members present? Kibum reportedly bowed out of the concert due to a foot injury back in July and Kangin is keeping it on the down-low because of the recent brawl controversies that have surfaced these few days... as for Leeteuk, I have no idea. Leeteuk & Kangin are in town & will be in the concert, but even then... so much for "thirteen member group". Hopefully we'll see the full team together some day soon.

Despite not showing up at the conference, Kangin's recent issues didn't escape the media; in fact, due to his absence, questions about the case were launched at his fellow group members instead. Though the boys didn't seem bogged down by the questions, we hope this issue will be resolved soon.

Regardless, it seems like this is going to be one hot concert, and with a group like Super Junior, I'm sure they won't disappoint!

Super Junior’s Kangin will not attend Asia Song Festival

super junior

Although Kangin is now in Hong Kong for Super Junior's Super Show 2 concert, it has just been confirmed that he will not attend the 2009 Asia Song Festival.

SM Entertainment stated to Newsen on the 18th:

"Kangin will not be attending the Asia Song Festival. Although Kangin will not attend, the rest of the Super Junior members will continue on as planned and perform on stage."

Kangin will be returning to Korea immediately after the Super Show 2 concert is over. In addition, Hwang Jung Eum and Kim Yong Joon will be replacing Kangin for the Andre Kim fashion show after he was dropped earlier for uncertainty over his status.

Kangin who is currently under investigation for a recent assault case, which occurred at a bar in Seoul on September 16th, 2009, is claiming innocence. Details from the CCTV footage from the night of the fight were supposed to be released today, but it has been delayed as the police have said that the experts require more time.

Kangin departs for Hong Kong

super junior
As you are reading this, Super Junior's Kangin is now probably already in Hong Kong with his Super Junior members, preparing for their Super Show 2 concert tour.

On the afternoon of 17th September, the Super Junior members, including Kangin left in 2 groups for Hong Kong, where they will perform their Super Show 2 concert on 18th September.

Although investigations into Kangin's involvement in an assault case are still pending, it was difficult to cancel this Hong Kong performance at the last minute due to contractual obligations. But with Kangin being able to travel overseas without restrictions, fans are hopeful that he is probably really innocent in the assault case.

A SM Entertainment representative said, "Although Kangin is able to go to Hong Kong for this concert, we are able to give any confirmation about Kangin's further schedules", casting doubt over Kangin's involvement at the 2009 Asia Song Festival on the 19th.

Although police have obtained CCTV footage about the alleged assault on the 17th, it's still early to pass any judgement because of the poor quality of the video. The police have now enlisted the help of experts to decipher the video and the findings will be presented on the 18th.

Andre Kim drops Kangin

super junior
With Kangin currently under investigation for his involvement in an assault case on the 16th, his schedules are now being cancelled one after another.

Kangin was originally scheduled to walk down the runway with Miss Korea 2009, Kim Joo Ri, modeling for Andre Kim’s Gangnam Fashion Festival collection on 22nd September at the COEX Piano Fountain Square. But with Kangin's involvement in the assault case, he has now been dropped from the show.

A spokesperson for Andre Kim revealed on the 17th, "Because of Kangin's involvement in a recent police case, we have decided to drop him from the show. We are now looking for someone to replace him and have yet to find a replacement."

With Super Junior scheduled to perform at the 2009 Asia Song Festival on 19th September, Kangin's involvement is now in doubt with no statements from SM Entertainment at the moment. Kangin has strongly maintained his innocence throughout the investigations and fans are hoping for a favourable outcome for their idol.

Super Junior makes Miracles

super junior

Boy band Super Junior, which is currently invading Korea's variety program scene, keeps it coming for E.L.Fs with their very own brand new variety show, 'Human Network Super Junior's Miracle'.

'Miracle', starring comedian Park Kyung Rim, singer Lee Soo Young and SuJu's Leeteuk, Kangin, Shindong, Sungmin and Eunhyuk (aka Super Junior T sans Heechul); is a programme with a heartwarming premise: the boys plant hopes and dreams for teenagers troubled with hardship by giving them support and encouragement... sort of like a guidance counselor or role model I suppose. Awww, how sweet!

The first episode of 'Miracle' was first broadcast yesterday night (8pm KST) and received positive feedbacks from the public; netizens have commented, "[the episode] was so emotional", "It's great to see Super Junior doing good for the community" etc.

For those of you who are curious, enjoy the first episode here!

'Miracle' will join SuJu's impressive variety show line-up, and will keep E.L.F drooling and aww-ing.

Super Junior Catches Mini Star Crackers For Photoshoot

super junior
The boys of SM idol group, Super Junior, have become the endorsers for Nongshim's cracker brand Let's Eat Stars. The boys recently had a photoshoot for Let's Eat Stars Mini, and I've got to say, this photoshoot was very simple and refreshing. Super Junior was chosen to endorse the product, because the boys were perfect for the cracker's target, as their teenage image matched perfectly with the cracker's fun and lovable image. Unfortunately once again, the odd man out, Kim Kibum, didn't participate in the photoshoot. Oh Kibum, when will you be back?

Anyways, check out the boys showing off their "Sorry Sorry" moves and smiles below.
